About The Position

Provide a unique coffee and food-forward experience for every customer, including keeping up with production demand throughout the day. Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Contribute to a positive team environment. Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers. Support the store events model and its execution. Operate in an environment with rapid innovation and minimal turnaround time from innovation to product and service delivery to the customer. Support inventory management, receiving, and storage of deliveries. Requirements

  • Experience in the service, culinary, restaurant or entertainment industry (i.e. restaurant, bar, theater, kitchen, specialty retail, or hospitality)
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push/pull, climb stairs, and stand without limitation and for long periods of time
  • Ability to carry 35lb on a consistent basis
  • Ability to memorize complex menus, ingredients, beverage & food builds
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to work as part of a large and matrixed team
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships quickly
  • Ability to work in multiple positions within different store departments (Zones), performing many different tasks within the departments during each shift

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of specialty retail sales experience beneficial
  • Facilitation and presentation skills beneficial
  • Ability to carry and balance a tray beneficial
  • Baking or Culinary Certification/Degree beneficial
  • Pizza making experience, additional baking experience beneficial
  • Basic culinary knife skills beneficial
  • Additional languages beneficial
