About The Position

Creative Dining Services is looking for a full-time Lead Barista for their new café located in the Haworth Hotel on Hope College’s campus. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who delivers excellent customer service, stays organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while creating an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

• One year of retail or specialty coffee experience in a lead role.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and presents food & beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards
• Achieve high levels of customer and client satisfaction
• Ensure all equipment works and is maintained properly
• Provide leadership, training, and instruction
• Refer and provide information to higher management regarding issues or concerns
