About The Position

The Cashier Host position contributes to Caesars New Orleans success by providing extraordinary guest service to all guests. This role provides guests with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable shop. Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Caesars New Orleans. Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for guests, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients. Mains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team. Anticipates guests and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Engage with and understand our guests, including discovering and responding to guest needs through clear and pleasant communication. Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create a successful environment during each shift. Assists with new team member training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed. Delivers extraordinary services to all guests by connecting with the guest and saying “thank you” to every guest. Discovers and responds to guest needs. Mains a clean and organized workspace to efficiently locate resources and product as needed. Provides quality beverages and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines Follows cash handling and register policies Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational methods. Mains merchandise on display neatly and in proper area.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience working in gift shop and coffee shop establishment preferred.
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Must have a pleasant, poised personality.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification in English.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
