WHAT YOU’LL DO - Setup all Bars, Point of Sales systems Power sources and Glassware prior to each event. Assist with Breakdown of Glassware, sodas, juices, back bars, front bars, and any other equipment set for event. - Check and Assist Bartenders In maintaining adequate amounts of supplies, including liquor beer wine ice and dry stock. Transport and replace all items needed. - Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, and event spaces. - Assist Beverage Manager in maintaining storage areas and organization of deliveries from purchasing department. ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES - Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards - Keep work area clean and organized - Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor such as cleaning guest spills, retrieving oval trays etc - Must adhere to all state federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are enforced. - Have enough training with Micros or point of sale system and bartending skills to be able to cover bartender job duties. WHAT YOU BRING - Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently to interact with staff. - Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette. - Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware. - Ability to make quick and accurate decisions. - Must possess strong organizational skills. - Ability to perform under pressure effectively for extensive periods of time while maintaining professionalism. - Transport meals that are delivered hot from the food pantry to guest's lounge chair safely.
