MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS One to two years experience in restaurant environment, preferably in busser/runner, or barback position. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (must have flexible schedule) Effective communication skills Commitment to deliver an outstanding customer experience Essential Functions: Help the bartender set up the bar for service this includes, getting ice and setting up the service wells. Slicing and preparing garnish making sure there are backups. Restock the bar with beer (always rotate the products, cold beer to the front, new to the back), liquor, glassware, juices, etc. Heat cider, water and tea for hot drinks and continue to fill during service. Make sure that everything is at the bar and that there are enough backups for the shift. Stock the bar of other items needed for service, lemonade, bar towels etc. Make sure that the bar is clean before opening and during service. Washing and buffing glasses and making sure they are returned to the correct place. Changing liquor bottles when needed and recycling the empties. Create enough fresh squeezed and syrups for an smooth and efficient shift. Physical Requirements/Work Environment: Works outdoors/indoors Works in warm/cold climates Works in high places Works on wet surfaces Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic Must be able to move up to 55 lbs Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required.
