About The Position

Take on a leadership role that ensures exceptional service and seamless beverage operations across the casino. As an EQC Bar Shift Manager, you'll help guide our beverage team, ensuring every pour, plate, and interaction meets the Emerald Queen Casino standard of excellence. You'll oversee daily bar operations, support the Beverage Manager, and keep service running smoothly across all bars and the Barista area. You'll take charge of training and mentoring staff, delegating tasks, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members alike. Whether assisting with scheduling, tending bar during busy shifts, or upholding top-tier health and safety standards, your leadership sets the tone for teamwork and exceptional service. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 2 years experience in a high volume bar and nightclub atmosphere.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in bar and restaurant management.
  • Knowledge in all aspects of serving cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages as well as comprehensive dining service.
  • Knowledge of liquor costs, promotions and P&L statements.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computers and POS systems.
  • Must demonstrate superior guest relations.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for longer than 8 hours
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must have the mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
  • Must be able to tolerate a smoke-filled environment
  • Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
  • All applicants must obtain a Class III A license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions.
