About The Position
Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The incumbent in this position is responsible for all activities pertaining to cleaning and maintenance of all food and beverage wares, kitchens, and service areas. The organization, sanitation and cost of operations is to be consistent with the overall Food & Beverage goals and objectives. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position) Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service. Completes all set-ups on time. Ensures that beverage supplies are available during services. Keeps bar clean and odor free at all times. Adheres to company and departmental policies and procedures. Is courteous and displays a good attitude. Performs any reasonable request made by beverage management. Performs all other related and compatible duties assigned. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Attend seminars when needed.
Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Interpersonal skills must include a positive, friendly and outgoing attitude, common courtesy towards others and the ability to deal successfully with stressful situations.
- Must have valid Food Handlers Card, Liquor License, and IGC Badge when working.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout shift.
- Must have the ability to withstand noisy and smoke-filled environments.
- Must be able to walk 100% of shift.
