Creates a high standard of cleanliness to bar, according to established policies, so guests enjoy a safe and memorable experience.
Requirements
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a bar porter and/or bar back in a casino, high-volume nightclub or high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Must be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required.
- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift & work inside assigned bar areas in the venue
- Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, coolers and other bar appliances in accordance with Hard Rock policies.
- Ensures bar is set properly.
- Ensures all soda gun products, fruit garnishes, and mixes meets service standards.
- Stocks assigned bar with product and supplies throughout the shift
- Prepares all mixes and garnishes
- Acknowledges, greets and converses with customers who approach the bar
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
