About The Position

The Bar Porter is responsible for supporting the bar operations by ensuring all service areas are fully stocked, clean, and organized. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient bar service by assisting bartenders with setup, replenishment, cleanup, and general operational support. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more)
Ability to stand and move for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of bar operations and beverage service
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

Stock bar with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and supplies before, during, and after service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, floors, sinks, and storage areas
Transport kegs, cases of beer, liquor bottles, and supplies as needed
Assist bartenders with restocking during service to ensure smooth operations
Remove trash, empty bottles, and recyclables from bar and service areas
Clean and polish glassware, utensils, and bar equipment as needed
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries in proper inventory locations
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Support setup and breakdown for special events or high-volume service periods
Perform other duties as assigned to support overall beverage operations
