About The Position

Position Overview: This position is responsible for providing direction to all bar staff before, during and after State Farm Stadium events. The Bar Manager is to oversee all bar operations and the implementation and enforcement of all Craft Culinary Concepts alcohol service policies and procedures. The Bar Manager is the key individual in ensuring that all alcoholic beverage sales for the concessions, club level and premium experience clubs bars are optimized by overseeing and guiding bartenders and bar backs and flawlessly executing all aspects of this position. To be successful in this position the Bar Manager is responsible for ordering, inventory control, product transfers to and from all bar locations and lofts, and reconciliation for all bar products. The Bar Manager will work their Bar Administrator Coordinator to effectively manage all bar staff including, but not limited to Bartenders, Bar Backs, and Cocktail Waitresses, and ensure that all bars are properly set up and operational prior to each event. The Bar Manager is responsible for ensuring all bar staff follow the policies for their assigned functions .

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a valid Arizona Title IV, TEAM or TIP certification card
  • Must have a valid Maricopa County Food Handler Card on file with Craft Culinary Concepts and in your possession for each event worked
  • Must have knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and be familiar with standard drink recipes and bar terminology
  • Must be discrete and keep all information and details of guests confidential
  • Must have a H.S Diploma or equivalent
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms, successfully pass a background check
  • Must be able to work with a group as well as independently
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis and be on feet for several hours
  • Must be able to maneuver through facility in a fast paced, often tightly quartered environment.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred knowledge of two-way radios, POS register systems, soda dispensers and beer taps
  • Preferred previous management experience in high volume venue/restaurant/bar environments
