About The Position
Q Center is seeking Banquet Set-up Housepersons to join their team. This role is responsible for the set up, refresh, tear down, and maintenance of all meeting spaces. Q Center is a leading conference center with 40 years of experience in meeting planning and special event production. As the largest full-service conference facility in the Midwest, it offers over 150,000 square-feet of IACC-certified meeting and event spaces for various occasions, from Fortune 500 company meetings to small business training and special events like fundraisers and weddings. The center provides 95 acres of recreational activities, gourmet cuisine, and aims to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Q Center also serves as a premier special event venue for social galas, ceremonies, and holiday parties, offering custom menus prepared by seasoned culinary experts.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the correct and timely set up of all Banquet Event Order functions, including Audio Visual set up.
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space and storage areas.
- Breakdown after completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.
- Transport and store tables, chairs and other equipment.
- Refresh meeting rooms as needed.
