JOB SUMMARY Oversees all Set-up Banquet functions under the direction of the Banquet Manager. Ensuring guest satisfaction. Assists in on-going evaluation of employees. Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures. HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY Responsible for ensuring that Silver Legacy’s service standards are met during banquet functions, including set-up, equipment, room set-up, lighting, etc. Ensure all rooms are set up according to the banquet event order (BEO) Ensure that door signs are put in daily for each function according to BEO Ensure that back hallways and equipment is organized, clean and in its correct space allowing for proper egress Notify Assistant Manager of any damage to equipment as soon as possible Always present a professional manner Review weekly functions and employee scheduling with Banquet Manager Ensure that proper sanitation procedures are followed at all times Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture Perform other job-related duties as assigned WHAT YOU WILL NEED Strong verbal communication skills Minimum of 2-4 years as Banquet Captain in a multi-unit hotel or casino High School diploma or equivalent ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand for long periods of time Frequent walking Work area is subject to variable temperatures May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS : Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS : Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Requirements

  • Strong verbal communication skills
