About The Position
The Banquet Set-up Houseperson is responsible for the set up, refresh, tear down and maintenance of all meeting space. Q Center is a large full-service conference facility with 150,000+ square-feet of IACC-certified meeting and event spaces, regularly hosting a variety of occasions from large-scale Fortune 500 company meetings to small business training and special events. The center also offers 95 acres of recreational fun and gourmet cuisine.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a hotel or a related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the correct and timely set up of all Banquet Event Order functions; including Audio Visual set up.
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space and storage areas.
- Breakdown after completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.
- Transport and store tables, chairs and other equipment.
- Refresh meeting rooms as needed.
