About The Position
The Q Center is seeking a Banquet Set-up Houseperson responsible for the complete management of meeting spaces, including setup, refreshing, tearing down, and general maintenance. This role is crucial for ensuring all banquet event functions, including Audio Visual setups, are executed correctly and on time. The Q Center is a premier full-service conference facility in the Midwest, boasting over 150,000 square feet of IACC-certified meeting and event spaces. It hosts a wide array of events, from large corporate meetings to special social gatherings, emphasizing a guest experience that combines gourmet cuisine with extensive recreational opportunities across its 95-acre campus.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the correct and timely set up of all Banquet Event Order functions; including Audio Visual set up.
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space and storage areas.
- Breakdown after completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.
- Transport and store tables, chairs and other equipment.
- Refresh meeting rooms as needed.
