As a Banquet Server on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include: Review and understand Banquet Event Orders or Event Plan to ensure banquet rooms are set as per the customer request. Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert table/carts and cordial carts. Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting and ensure guest satisfaction throughout meal service. Deliver and serve welcome drinks, food, meals, condiments, and accompaniments etc. Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation. Remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area. Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas. Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the banquet/meeting rooms. Other duties may be required and assigned from time-to-time. The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities: One to two years of experience in a similar role in an upscale hotel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak, read, write and understand English. Use judgement and reasoning to cope with emergencies. Knowledge and understanding of various banquet and food service techniques and standards. Requirements

One to two years of experience in a similar role in an upscale hotel.
