About The Position
As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met at meetings and events while circulating the room and performing food and beverage services. This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Requirements
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to anticipate the needs of the guests and acknowledge their requests
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Ability to help validate customers ' IDs and monitor all beverage consumption
Responsibilities
- Serving guests while carrying plates of food on trays
- Keeping glasses full, removing each round of plates, and replenishing utensils
- Perform cleaning tasks along with the assembly and breakdown of service
- Cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after each service
- Ensuring a wonderful experience from beginning to end while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
