About The Position

The Banquet Server at Maumee Bay Lodge will be responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests during events and banquets. Banquet Servers will serve either plated meals or buffets for corporate events, weddings, family reunions and all other catered events. We offer you pay at $7.50 per hour plus service charge from events worked. With service charge received you'll average anywhere from $13.00 - $20.00 per hour or more depending on business levels. Shifts start as early as 5am for breakfast and may go as late as 12am - 1am for weddings. About the Company: Maumee Bay Lodge is a premier resort located in Oregon, Ohio. Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull
Ability to work any shift, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to frequently bend/stoop and occasionally squat, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and efficient manner.
Carry large service trays with up to 8 meals for plated events.
Set up for banquet events to include chafers for food, place settings, napkins, condiments, waters, etc.
Breakdown of chafters, napkins, condiments, glasses, etc.
Bus tables during the event to ensure tables are as clean as possible for event attendees.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the banquet area.
May set up tables & chairs at times when needed.
