About The Position

The duties and responsibilities of a Banquets Server are generally to provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire event process to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least one (1) year experience.
• Ability to learn food handlers service.
• Moving (walking, standing, working) throughout Convention Center and continuously standing, bending, and kneeling.
• Vision, hearing, speech and literacy
• Lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a casino environment, in the midst of noise, crowded situations etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person.
• Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
• Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
