Requirements

Previous experience in banquet serving, catering, or hospitality preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Minimum of High School education
Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role
Ability to communicate effectively verbally
Team player
Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
Excellent time management skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts

Nice To Haves

Food safety certification preferred

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
Ensure guest satisfaction by attending to their needs and addressing any concerns promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events
Assist with event breakdown and cleanup following the conclusion of functions
Collaborate with event coordinators and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Take accurate food orders from guests and/or ensure buffet is stocked appropriately.
Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that food is properly prepared and nicely presented and/or the buffet is appealing.
Refreshes drinks
Assists with bussing tables
Perform various other duties as assigned
