About The Position

BASIC PURPOSE: Provide warm, hospitable service during banquet events, according to brand/company standards and state laws in a safe, accident-free manner.

Requirements

• One year of banquet experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Communication and hospitality skills (English) required
• Ability to use micros machine
• Full knowledge of state liquor laws
• Full knowledge of TIPs training
• Lifting/Pushing/Pulling/Carrying Trays up to 20 lbs., carry silverware and set-ups of 20 lbs.
• Mobility Continually walking at a fast pace. Variable area including tight, high density environment. Continuous standing. Quick paced bending/stretching to serve beverages and general cleanliness of work areas.

Responsibilities

• Relay food and beverage orders.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
• Anticipate guests needs and exceed customer service expectations.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person.
• Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
• Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Comply with all CHA Galleria LLC policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
