WE LOVE OUR WORK. - Adheres to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. - Maintains one or more assigned areas in the Front of House, Back of House, or immediate area outside casino; Banquet Porter is responsible for maintaining general cleanliness and appearance of banquet/meeting rooms. - Performs all phases of light duty cleaning, including sweeping, wiping, mopping, vacuuming, gum removal, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning sand urns, and spot cleaning of glass, mirrors, and carpeting, as directed. - Responsible for emergency clean-up in assigned sections. - Performs snow removal duties as assigned. - Returns all equipment to its proper storage area. - Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to learn and follow direction.
- Must be able to operate equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, mop, and broom.
- Must perform duties with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
