About The Position

We currently have full-time job opportunities for a Banquet Line Cook in our Gaslight Grill kitchen. This position is responsible for the preparation and execution of banquet menu items in a fast casual restaurant setting with catering and event capabilities. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to timing and consistency, supporting smooth service for private events, buffets, and plated dinners.

Responsibilities

Prepare banquet and catering menu items following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
Support execution of buffet setups, plated service, and action stations as assigned.
Maintain a clean and organized prep and service area throughout event production.
Follow event orders (BEOs) and timelines to ensure accurate and timely food delivery.
Assist in batch cooking, hot box loading, and event station setup and breakdown.
Label and rotate food items in accordance with safety and sanitation procedures.
Ensure proper handling and storage of food items to minimize waste and maintain quality.
Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, steamers, grills, and warmers safely and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assist in pre-event prep work and post-event clean up as assigned by the banquet chef.
Follow checklists and prep sheets to ensure event readiness.
Assist with other culinary tasks during non-event periods if needed.
