About The Position
The Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood, Curio Collection by Hilton is searching for a talented Full-Time Banquet Houseperson join their team. The ideal candidate will be a driven and passionate team player with at least one year of comparable experience in banquet operations, possess open availability, and understand that this role requires being on their feet for extended periods and performing heavy lifting. This is a union position. This stunning 1000 room oceanfront resort is the perfect getaway with two beachside pools, a Dip & Slide splash pad for kids, and 1,000 linear feet of alabaster beach. Savor stunning views, delicious dining options, and endless sunshine in Hollywood, Florida. Shift Pattern: Full availability is required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. This position will primarily support the overnight shift (10:00 PM-6:30 AM); however, flexibility to support AM, PM, and overnight shifts is also required.
Requirements
- At least one year of comparable experience in banquet operations
- Possess open availability
- Understand that this role requires being on their feet for extended periods and performing heavy lifting
Responsibilities
- Set tables and chairs to meet function specifications.
- Clean meeting space including washing meeting room walls at beginning of events
- Clean meeting space including, but not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, wiping areas and washing walls before and after events
