Capital Hilton is looking to welcome a talented Banquet Houseperson to join the team! Our historic hotel is in the heart of the nation’s capital, less than a mile from McPherson Sq metro station has 559 guest rooms, over 31,235 total event space and 21 meeting rooms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate job stability, with at least one year of recent experience with a single employer. They will be skilled in setting up, breaking down, and cleaning meeting rooms, event spaces, and surrounding areas, with a strong focus on detail and efficiency. This individual will possess flexibility, patience, and a sense of urgency. Physical stamina is essential, as the role involves standing for extended periods and the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects. This is a union position. Previous hotel and banquet houseperson experience is preferred but not required. Shift Pattern: Full Availability (weekday, weekend, and holidays) - AM, PM and Overnight shifts, as needed. What will I be doing? A Banquet Houseperson is responsible for supporting Food and Beverage operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while ensuring cleanliness of all areas and maintaining equipment.
