Requirements
- Previous experience servicing events in a fast-paced restaurant or event’s space preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Review the BEO and day work assignments with supervisor.
- Correctly and efficiently set up and break down all department functions.
- Clean and wipe down tables and chairs if necessary. If something needs to be deep cleaned or repaired, please notify direct supervisor.
- Always keep function room area and storage areas clean and neat.
- Return all equipment not in use to proper storage area in clean condition before the end of each shift.
- Assist guests whenever possible, referring all requests which are beyond scope of responsibility immediately to supervisor.
- Follow all SOPs, policies, procedures and regulations as noted
- Be familiar with the various types of workable setups for each function room.
- Check the temperature and see if all lights are working and adjusted properly.
- Assist banquet staff as needed.
- Assist and support in other organizational tasks within the Food and Beverage Department
- Notify supervisor of any damaged equipment for repair.
- Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
- Get along well with others and be a team player
- Other duties will be assigned as needed
