About The Position

Provides high-level administrative and coordination support to the Director of Banquets to ensure seamless planning, communication, and execution of all banquet and event operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of administrative experience (hospitality or event environment strongly preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a Director of Banquets, Catering, or Sales team is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests upon arrival, offering clear information regarding event schedules, seating arrangements and venue layout.
  • Ensure contracts, BEOs, and client files are accurate and complete.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and timecards.
  • Maintain event calendars, function books, and master schedules.
  • Assist with inventory records for banquet supplies and equipment.
  • Serve as a point of contact between the Director of Banquets and internal departments.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Catering, Culinary, and Operations teams.
  • Maintain a calm, organized presence during high‑volume events and time‑sensitive situations.
  • Provide support to VIP guests and accommodate dietary, accessibility, and cultural requirements.
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly to maintain exceptional service standards.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Work closely with banquet staff, servers, captains, and event managers to ensure seamless event execution.
