Requirements

• Previous banquet or event leadership experience (Banquet Captain or Supervisor preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Knowledge of food & beverage service standards
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A positive, team-first attitude with a passion for hospitality

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise banquet team members during events, ensuring service flows effortlessly
• Coordinate with culinary, bar, and event planning teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Oversee room setup, décor, and breakdown according to event specifications
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to review timelines, service standards, and guest expectations
• Monitor food and beverage presentation to ensure quality and consistency
• Address guest needs and resolve concerns promptly with positivity and professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout each event
• Inspire the team to deliver service with genuine island hospitality
