About The Position

At Parks Hospitality Group, we are seeking an experienced and professional Banquet Captain to join our Food & Beverage team. In this key role, you will ensure an exceptional experience for clients and guests during events by delivering top-tier service, coordinating between departments, and overseeing banquet staff to ensure seamless event execution.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience in event coordination or banquet service.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.

Nice To Haves

• ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations, following event specifications.
• Greet guests upon arrival, assist with seating arrangements, and address any needs or concerns.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with service standards and alcohol regulations.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly respond to requests or concerns.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Set up, monitor, and refresh event stations such as buffets or coffee breaks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas and equipment throughout events.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
