The Banquet Bartender is responsible for setting up, tending, and breaking down banquet bars in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards. This role involves checking Banquet Event Orders to determine function details, setting up portable bars in the function area, and following established guidelines for making beverages. The bartender must abide by state, federal, and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages, as well as HHM cash handling policies. Responsibilities also include removing trash and liquor glasses from tables, clearing tablecloths, and thoroughly cleaning and breaking down the bar, ensuring all equipment and supplies are returned to their proper area. The position requires practicing safe work habits, wearing protective safety equipment, and adhering to MSDS and OSHA standards.
