The Banquet Bar Runner is responsible for setting up bar back areas and equipment for bar tenders and keeping bars stocked throughout the duration of the bar shift. At the end of the bar the bar runner will clean up equipment and product brought to the bar throughout the shift.

High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training
MUST have some restaurant/bar experience

Responsibilities

Set up bar equipment and restock bars during shift.
Assist in putting product away and organizing bar areas.
Participate in an "aggressive hospitality program", greeting all guests with warmth and enthusiasm, and be attentive to their needs while they are with us.
Learn and follow all hotel policies and procedures pertaining to your area of work. Follow established uniform standards and comply with all other company policies.
Practice safety standards and reports all unsafe conditions.
Provide fast and courteous service to our guests.
Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times as a goodwill ambassador of the AGPH to ensure guest satisfaction.
Associate's attitude, willingness to please guests, ability to get along with co-workers and supervisors.
Ability to follow established guidelines, procedures and policies.
Good record of attendance and punctuality at work.
Adherence to prescribed grooming and appearance standards.
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
Go over events with manager or supervisor at the start of the shift.
Set up glassware, ice, chillers, trash cans at all bar areas prior to bar tenders arrival.
Restock bars throughout the shift with supplies as needed.
Assist with trash removal from bars as needed throughout the shift.
Keep an accurate count of what is brought up to the bars for restocking.
Tear down glassware, ice, chillers, trash cans from all bars at the end of the shift.
Assist with clearing of the room if needed.
Assist with receiving and rotating product for all properties.
Assist with cleaning and organization of the bar storage areas.
