About The Position
Aligned Talent Acquisition partners with several respected mid-sized and boutique firms across the Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Greater Delaware Valley Region that regularly hire Bankruptcy and Restructuring attorneys. This posting reflects ongoing hiring needs within our client network as firms continue to see steady demand in financial restructuring, insolvency, and debtor/creditor rights. We’re confidentially connecting with attorneys in the 4–8 year range who have handled Chapter 11, workout, or complex commercial matters and are open to exploring new roles in 2025.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school; Pennsylvania or Delaware bar admission preferred
- 4–8 years of bankruptcy, restructuring, or commercial litigation experience
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage client communications and case strategy with limited supervision
Responsibilities
- Represent debtors, creditors, and trustees in bankruptcy proceedings and workouts
- Draft and argue motions, proofs of claim, and reorganization plans
- Conduct legal research and advise clients on insolvency, restructuring, and creditor-rights matters
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex Chapter 11 and restructuring cases
