About The Position

The Branch Banking Specialist I (Bank Teller) at Shore United Bank is a front-line customer service role focused on providing exceptional service to clients while handling various banking transactions. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year of experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• 1 year of experience in cash handling with a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handles customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and night deposits.
• Settles and maintains the ATM, accurately balancing the cash drawer.
• Provides superior customer service through conversation to identify customer needs, both in person and over the phone.
• Promotes bank products and services to help customers meet their financial needs.
• Works closely with bank partners for client referrals to various financial services.
• Aids customers in managing and optimizing their bank accounts and other products.
• Maintains confidentiality with all information obtained from customers.
• Supports adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML compliance.
• Participates in required training sessions.
