Requirements

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum six months to one year of food server experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests, restaurant staff, and culinary production team.
• Helps guests select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining the chef’s specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.
• Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
• Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording guest choices and identifying guest special dietary needs and special requests.
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, drink orders, and being alert to guest spills, and other special needs.
• Obtains revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills and payments to host, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to guest.
• Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards.
• Deep cleans restaurant equipment (tables, chairs, booths, soda and juice dispensers, coffee machines), as scheduled, or required.
• Operates and maintains equipment as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures.
