Designing spaces that shape the future requires a commitment to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. Ballinger’s Scholarship for Equity program aims to enhance equity in our industry and increase the pipeline of diverse talent in the fields of architecture, engineering and interior design. Our needs-based program is designed to support diverse Black, Indigenous, Person of Color, Latinx, Asian, and /or LGBTQIA+ students at several steps in their education, from the first year of college through graduation. Read on to learn more about the program details and application deadlines. Up to two (2) $2500 scholarships will be awarded for students entering their freshman through senior year in an accredited program in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering. Recipients will receive a “shadow day” to experience life at Ballinger. Please include a cover letter that includes an autobiography paragraph an essay (300 word minimum) explaining what this scholarship would mean to you describing how you intend to shape the future within architecture, engineering or interior design and list the name and contact information of a professor (or high school teacher, if entering your freshman year). Also include a resume, attach a link to your portfolio with your submission. Applications are being accepted from January 1, 2026– March 2, 2026, for students entering their freshman-senior year in an accredited program in the Fall of 2026. Scholarships will be awarded May 2026.
