About The Position

This position is responsible for separating trash from large cardboard boxes, placing trash into a compactor, and feeding cardboard into a baling machine for recycling. The role also supports general warehouse cleanliness and may include basic material‑handling tasks. Forklift certification is preferred or must be obtained after hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift certified or willing to complete forklift training.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic understanding of safety rules and equipment operation.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment screening (drug screen, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Separate trash from incoming cardboard totes and boxes.
• Dispose of trash into the compactor safely and efficiently.
• Feed cardboard into the baler and operate the machine according to procedures.
• Tie, secure, and stage finished bales for pickup.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and equipment procedures.
• Report maintenance, safety, or equipment issues immediately.
• Complete additional warehouse or sanitation tasks as assigned.
