Requirements

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work through multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints.
• Excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills are preferred.
• Experience in operating power equipment preferred.
• Experience with computers or a willingness and ability to learn.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with regular and timely attendance in accordance with the assigned work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Bales salvage donations in a safe manner to meet production goals.
• Maximizes salvage processing production to limit product backup and to meet and exceed salvage revenue goals of the department.
• Operates power equipment in a safe manner (baler, stacker and power pallet jack, tilt master, compactor, tipper and forklift) and loads/unloads trailers.
• Replaces, builds, breakdown and labels full gaylords.
• Safely bands and shrink wraps pallets of various products; loads product for secure transportation.
• Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
