following all safety rules and practices; accurately weighing waste bales, and recording bale weights on bale tallies; loading waste bales into rail cars; sweeping up trim from bales feeding waste into the shredder / hogger; obtaining waste loads from production areas as directed; maintaining a clean and organized baler room; loading seconds and other non-shredded waste into trucks for shipment; working with returned goods; cleaning the baler and notifying maintenance of problems as necessary; responsible for cleaning the rail dock area per designated schedule ensure all bumpers have been replaced as well as all packing material brought in from rail cars have been disposed of. daily inspection lift sheet and report any structural or forklift damage immediately. daily cleaning out the overflow box; daily cleaning out the box behind the chute and the area in front of the chute; daily cleaning out the twister / inserter box; daily blowing out the radiator; daily cleaning out behind the ram following safe practices; daily blowing off or vacuuming the baler exterior; daily sweeping/maintaining of the baler room floors inside and outside; and salvaging materials for protection sheets and other uses; receiving materials and supplies; and Performing other duties as directed.
