About The Position

Bakery Production Team Player’s Mission Effectively carry out Prasek’s mission, work with, and carry out the tasks delegated by the Bakery Manager. Personal Qualities - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen to, communicate with and understand management, Team Players, and others

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to lift and carry 60 pounds
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side-to-side for an extended period of time
Must be able to move safely around equipment and possess dexterity in hands and fingers
As dictated by business and need, must be able to work early mornings, extended hours and a varying work schedule
Basic knowledge of technologically based equipment
Ability to understand and use all needed equipment and machinery
Possess an overall knowledge of bakery and value added products, i.e., quality, ingredients, production processes, preparation methods, storage methods and uses
Possess a knowledge of quality baked goods, safety, merchandising and marketing, and selling

Responsibilities

Bake – make dough
Practice good personal hygiene and sanitation procedures
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the bakery (food preparation, storage and assembly)
Perform closing and cleaning procedures as indicated on the Opening/Closing Checklist
Ensure that all equipment, tubs and utensils are properly cleaned, sanitized and stored
Perform all job duties in a safe manner
Operate equipment used in the bakery according to proper procedures and notify Management of needed equipment repairs
Notify the Manager on duty of any unsafe conditions or safety violations
Abide by all company policies and procedures as detailed in the Prasek’s Family Smokehouse Team Player Handbook and Operating Manuals
