About The Position
The Bakery Oven Operator is responsible for baking and finishing commissary bakery products to ensure consistent quality, appearance, and food safety. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality products to our stores by executing precise baking standards and supporting efficient production flow.

Responsibilities
- Operate commercial bakery ovens in accordance with production schedules and product specifications
- Monitor bake times, temperatures, and product outcomes to ensure consistency in quality and appearance
- Safely and efficiently load and unload ovens while maintaining production pace
- Adjust oven settings based on product type, batch size, and environmental conditions
- Conduct quality checks on finished products, including color, texture, and doneness
- Collaborate with mixing, bench, and packaging teammates to support overall production flow
- Follow all Food Safety Plan requirements, including Preventative Controls, sanitation environmental monitoring programs
- Follow all allergen control procedures, including proper ingredient handling, production sequencing, changeover practices, and cleaning verification to prevent cross-contact
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including ovens and surrounding equipment
- Accurately complete required production logs and documentation
- Communicate equipment issues or product concerns to leadership in a timely manner
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of machine guarding and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) when required
- Meet production targets for throughput, yield, and schedule adherence while minimizing waste and rework
