About The Position

Mercurys Coffee Co. is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Bakery & Kitchen Assistant to join our growing production team. This entry-level position supports our Bakery and Kitchen departments with daily production, packaging, and general prep tasks. If you enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and take pride in quality and consistency, this is a great opportunity to grow with us.

Requirements

• Overnight position from 11pm-5am daily
• At least 18 years of age
• Authorized to work in the United States
• No prior kitchen experience required - training provided
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to take initiative and pitch in wherever needed
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
• Must be able to stand, bend, reach, and use motor skills constantly
• Must be a team player and perform well under pressure
• Self-starter who can maintain an upbeat attitude
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to perform repetitive standing, and motion of the wrists and hands for 8 hours per day

Responsibilities

• Pack, box, and label daily bakery and kitchen orders for our cafs
• Assist with basic production tasks such as portioning, assembling, and preparing ingredients
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Help with restocking supplies, rotating inventory, and general kitchen organization
• Support bakery and kitchen leads with additional daily production needs
