The Bakery Deli Clerk is responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude. This role involves a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service, and merchandising, primarily working in the bakery and deli departments during early mornings. The Food Clerk will build rapport with customers, display a friendly and outgoing attitude, respond to questions effectively, stock and maintain product displays, utilize technology for tasks, and follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products. This position is applicable to Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, and Grocery departments.

Requirements

You are detail-oriented and organized.
Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
