Bakery Associate - Baker/Bread Separator Modesto CA
About The Position
85°C Bakery Cafe is seeking Back of House Associates, specifically Baker/Bread Separators, for its Modesto, CA location. This role is for individuals who are committed to providing exceptional customer service, are detail-oriented, and willing to go above and beyond. 85°C Bakery Cafe, founded in 2004, is a global bakery & beverage retail business with over 1,000 stores worldwide, known for offering five-star quality pastries and drinks at an affordable price. The company invites candidates to begin a dynamic career with its team. Initial training for this position will take place at the Stockton, CA location while the Modesto store is under construction. Mileage reimbursement will be provided for travel to Stockton during this training period. Once the Modesto store opens, training will transition to the Modesto location.
Requirements
- High School diploma or higher
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Acceptable verbal English communication skill
- Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts
- Enforce Health Department Regulations and be ServSafe certified
- Available to work at least 20 hours a week
- MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY
Nice To Haves
- Fast food or retail experience is preferred
- Weekend and holiday availability strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with a level of service beyond the customer's expectation, while showing sensitivity to their individual needs
- Make a memorable connection and commit to making each guest's experience the best
- Teamwork, follow direction and work together with the store management team to deliver outstanding service; to create an uplifting work atmosphere, for both your fellow employees and the customers
- Perform job specific duties including baking bread, decorating cakes and making drinks
- Be on time for all scheduled shifts and adhere to all company policies and guidelines
- Work hard and have FUN while doing so!
- Cross train in each department including: Bread, Cake, POS, Bar
