THE JOB: We are seeking an passionate Baker with 2+ years of baking experience to create delightful pastries and baked goods while enhancing the guest experience with your warm hospitality. In this role, you will follow recipes, maintain cleanliness in your work area, and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure quality and presentation. Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED
- 1+ Years of prior relevant Baking experience
- Willing and able to work Full-Time schedule, Day shift 6:00am-2:45pm or 8:00am-4:45pm including weekends and holidays
- Ability to produce all aspects of bake shop including pastries, wedding cakes and specialty items from scratch
Nice To Haves
- 2+ Years of prior relevant Baking experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant or similar environment is preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare baked goods by following recipes and yield guides.
- Assist in decorating cakes and pastries while maintaining attention to detail in presentation.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the work area.
- Process requisitions and properly label and date products for safekeeping.
- Set up and break down workstations as needed.
- Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
- Communicate effectively with management, chefs, and service staff to address guest needs and concerns.
