About The Position

Our Bakers assist in the preparation of all bakery items, including bread, pastries and other menus items served at The Library Café. At the Inn at SentryWorld, we focus on the guest experience, providing an upscale experience with authentic Wisconsin charm. We’re looking for an experienced Baker who’ll join the team and help deliver on our bakery concept. This Part-time position (20-29 hours a week) has current scheduled hours between 3:00 am to 1:00 pm with varying days. SentryWorld is the hospitality component of Sentry, offering numerous ways to play, engage, and relax, including an 18-hole public golf course, banquet facilities, a sports complex, two restaurants, and The Inn at SentryWorld, a 64-room upscale boutique hotel. Requirements

Technical Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 1 year of related work experience, pastry cooking or pastry chef experience with high volume food production
Ability to employ math skills when following recipes and menu specifications
Strong listening, communication, and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to multi-task and problem solve
Ability to work flexible scheduling including early mornings, weekends and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

Degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts preferred
Experience with from scratch baking preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare, bake, & decorate from scratch breads, bars, muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, pastries, and specialty chocolate confectionaries for our guests
Maintain cleanliness of equipment, cases, and counter ensuring all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are met
Collaborate with the Hotel Chef & Beverage Manager and back of house team on bakery preparation and execution for special functions to ensure exceptional service is provided
