About The Position

New bakery/café concept seeks a Baker/Pastry Chef to lead daily production of Israeli & Middle Eastern pastries.

Requirements

  • Proven baker/pastry chef experience with strong laminated dough production
  • Familiarity with Israeli/Middle Eastern pastries preferred (burekas/borek, malawach, yeasted flatbreads)
  • Comfortable producing both savory and sweet items in a high-quality, production-focused environment
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and excited to help build an opening team with systems and standards

Responsibilities

  • Produce laminated doughs and execute daily production of savory and sweet baked goods to spec
  • Manage fermentation, lamination, proofing, and baking while maintaining consistency and quality
  • Prepare fillings/components featuring Israeli & Middle Eastern flavors and support seasonal menu items
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety while following recipes and production schedules
