About The Position
A "cart, bagroom and range ball attendant" is a golf course staff member responsible for managing the golf carts, maintaining the bag room, and ensuring the driving range is stocked with clean range balls. They provide excellent customer service by assisting golfers with their equipment and ensuring a smooth playing experience by preparing carts, storing bags and managing the practice areas.
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy golf bags
- Attention to detail for maintaining cart and bag room cleanliness
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work alone and in a fast paced enviroment
Responsibilities
- Cart Management Cleaning and inspecting golf carts after each use
- Staging carts in the designated area, ready for golfers
- Checking cart functionality and reporting any issues
- Loading and unloading golf bags onto carts
- Bag Room Operations Receiving and storing golfers' golf bags securely
- Retrieving bags and delivering them to carts
- Cleaning and maintaining golf clubs upon request
- Organizing and labeling bags in the bag room
- Range Ball Management Collecting used range balls from the driving range using a range ball picker
- Washing and cleaning range balls
- Restocking range balls
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the driving range practice area
- Customer Service Greeting golfers and providing friendly assistance
- Answering questions about the course and facilities
- Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
