About The Position

IGA Market is seeking a part-time Bagger who desires flexibility. This family-owned and growing company offers weekly pay, flexible schedules, and excellent benefits including a 401K, Pension Plan, and tuition assistance. The role is focused on creating smiles for guests.

Requirements

Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to retrieve and push in shopping carts.
Ability to bend and lift to load guests orders into cars.
Effective communication and guests service skills.

Responsibilities

Actively communicates with every guests including greeting, thanking, offering a choice of bag type, and performing any other courtesy guideline.
Properly bags guests orders to ensure purchases are not damaged.
Works well with all hosts and supervisors.
Places guests purchases in grocery cart or hands bags to the customer and sincerely offers assistance to the guests vehicle.
Performs price checks.
Relay guests problems to supervisor.
Retrieves carts from parking lot.
Cleans front end, break room, rest rooms, lobby, parking lot, etc.
Cleans garbage and debris from carts and baskets.
Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
