Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in manufacturing or an industrial environment preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and must provide valid ID(s) (E-Verify).

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging production preferred.
Printing press and/or glue machine experience strongly preferred.
Ability to read production specifications and measurements.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and moving parts.
Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Operate bag manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently.
Set up, adjust, and operate printing press and/or glue machine equipment (preferred).
Adjust machines size, pressure, tension and ink distribution to ensure optimal performance according to line orders and specifications.
Perform quality checks on finished products and document results.
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform routine preventative maintenance.
Follow all safety and production procedures.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Meet productivity and attendance expectations.
Use tools safely and effectively, including knives, pneumatic hoses, air guns, and hoists.
Wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., eye and ear protection, steel-toe shoes).
Uphold a high standard of safety, adhering to workplace policies such as lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements.
