Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in manufacturing or an industrial environment preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and must provide valid ID(s) (E-Verify).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging production preferred.
  • Printing press and/or glue machine experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read production specifications and measurements.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and moving parts.
  • Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Operate bag manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate printing press and/or glue machine equipment (preferred).
  • Adjust machines size, pressure, tension and ink distribution to ensure optimal performance according to line orders and specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products and document results.
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform routine preventative maintenance.
  • Follow all safety and production procedures.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Meet productivity and attendance expectations.
  • Use tools safely and effectively, including knives, pneumatic hoses, air guns, and hoists.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., eye and ear protection, steel-toe shoes).
  • Uphold a high standard of safety, adhering to workplace policies such as lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements.
