About The Position

Bag Check Attendants are responsible for greeting guests and conducting bag inspections as they enter the facility to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. This role ensures all guests comply with Spooky Nook Sports’ rules, policies, and safety regulations while providing friendly and professional customer service.

Must be 18 years of age or older to apply and shifts will include primarily weekends during tournament season. Starting pay will be $13.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Position may require working indoors near facility entrances
• Physical requirements include standing, bending, and light lifting (up to 25 pounds)

• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the facility in a friendly and professional manner
• Conduct bag checks in accordance with complex policies and safety procedures
• Enforce facility rules and regulations related to prohibited items
• Clearly and respectfully communicate policies to guests when necessary
• Monitor entry points to ensure only approved items enter the complex
• Report safety concerns, policy violations, or suspicious activity to leadership or security
• Maintain a safe and orderly entry environment
• Assist guests with general questions related to facility policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
