Backup Operator 7PM to 7AM-D TEAM
About The Position
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all duties listed below: All related paperwork Taking readings (all bottle measurements) Running the blow molder and all downstream components Cleaning molds Assist with changeovers Evaluates and takes appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment with established standards and guidelines Inspect work areas, and look for unsafe acts/conditions Effectively use verbal and written communications Maintain a clean and safe working environment Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift
- Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting
- Willingness to be trained on the following before starting their duties: Blow mold basics 6 wk. Operator Training Course, subject to a formal evaluation at 3 weeks, 6 weeks, and additional periodic intervals by the Trainer and Supervisor and decisions will be made accordingly
- This position requires the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
